San Antonio, Texas – Unity Church of San Antonio is known for being different. Best known for “Freedom to Say I Do,” a same-sex wedding event planned before the ruling in the Supreme Court case of Obergefell v. Hodges as an act of faith, they are offering a class and workshop that is different, too. One that combines cutting-edge science and spirituality.

“It’s not a typical church class offering, but we aren’t a typical church,” said Jennifer Shawker, Communications Coordinator at Unity Church of San Antonio, “If you are more spiritual than religious, Unity is the right place for you.”

Jennifer Gates M.A., Community Life Coordinator at the church, is organizing the class. “I am pleased to be facilitating and planning this meaningful workshop and study series for all who seek a deep level of personal exploration and transformation.” she states. “We are offering not only a high level of professional expertise from our presenters, but more importantly, a heartfelt level of sharing from professionals who care deeply about the lives they touch.”

It all begins with a workshop on Saturday, January 9, from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The Divine Embodiment: Giving Life to Your Intentions workshop will be facilitated by clinical psychologist, Maggie Meigs, PhD.
